Safety

At Three Rivers Baptist Church, we take the safety of our children seriously. We have developed policies and procedures to ensure that we care for children with the heart of Christ. All our volunteers are background-checked, and anyone with access to kids in Children’s Ministry programs and events are church members who are known and accountable. We offer training and have constant oversight so that everything is done with excellence for the glory of God. Parents are always welcome to reach out with more specific questions regarding our safety policies for children.

Walking with Students Through Their Teenage Years

Our youth ministry seeks to disciple middle and high school students in a way which contributes to their completion in Christ. We recognize that the teenage years are formative, and we’re committed to walking alongside students as they navigate life, deepen their faith, and discover their identity in Christ.

• Biblical Foundation: Provide in-depth teaching and discussion of Scripture
• Authentic Community: Create regular times of fellowship where students can encourage one another

Young Adults Ministry (YAM)

Three Rivers YAM is home to young adults in their college years and early professional lives. This season of life brings unique challenges and opportunities, and we’re here to provide a community where you can grow in faith and build lasting friendships.

Our Mission

Our goal is to equip young adults through Bible-centered teaching and regular times of getting together to invest in each other’s social and spiritual formation. We want to help you:

Growing Together in Christ

The Women’s Ministry at Three Rivers Baptist aids in the spiritual growth of women by providing venues which encourage a deeper love for the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that women need community with other women—places to learn, grow, serve, and encourage one another in faith.

Our Purpose

We exist to help women:

• Grow in knowledge and love of God through His Word
• Develop meaningful, gospel-centered friendships
• Discover and use their spiritual gifts
• Support one another through life’s joys and challenges
• Live out their faith in everyday life

What We Offer

Bible Studies Throughout the year, we offer various Bible study opportunities that dive deep into Scripture. These studies provide both teaching and discussion, allowing women to learn from God’s Word and from each other.

Growing in God’s Word Together

Our Adult Sunday School provides an opportunity for believers to study God’s Word in community with others who are facing similar life stages and experiences. These classes, which we call “flocks,” are a vital part of spiritual growth and connection at Three Rivers.

Our Approach

Age-Graded Classes Classes are organized by age categories so believers facing similar life issues can share common experiences and encourage one another. This allows for relevant application and meaningful relationships.

Men Following Christ

The Men’s Ministry at Three Rivers Baptist exists to help men grow in their relationship with Christ and fulfill their God-given roles as leaders, husbands, fathers, and disciples. We believe that a church is only as strong as its men, and we are committed to equipping men to be faithful followers of Jesus.

Our Purpose

We exist to help men:

• Deepen their relationship with God through His Word and prayer
• Live with integrity and biblical character
• Lead their families with wisdom and grace
• Serve the church and community with humility
• Build meaningful friendships with other men

What We Offer

Men’s Bible Study We gather regularly to study God’s Word together, challenging one another to grow in knowledge and application of Scripture. These studies provide a place for honest conversation, biblical teaching, and mutual encouragement.

What is Discipleship?

Biblical discipleship is the process by which followers of Jesus are intentionally formed in their faith through relationship, accountability, and the study of God’s Word. Jesus modeled this pattern with the twelve, and we seek to carry on this practice in our church family.

Why It Matters

Growth in the Christian life rarely happens in isolation. We are designed for community—to walk alongside one another, speak truth in love, and encourage each other toward Christlikeness. Discipleship is one of the most powerful and personal ways this happens.
